- Tamarind (1 lemon size)
- Jaggery (1/2 cup)
- Coriander seeds (1 tbsp, crushed)
- Chilly powder (1 tsp)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- In 2 cups of water, add tamarind, jaggery, coriander, chilly powder, salt and bring them to boil.
- In a slow flame cook for 15 to 20 minutes till the flavor of tamarind and other spices mix well in water.
- Strain the water and keep it aside.
