Coconut Ladoo

Coconut ladoo or nariyal ladoo is a very easy recipe preparation and needs only 3 ingredients. Enjoy this festival season specially for dusshera, diwali and navaratri.


Grated coconut (2 cups)
Milk powder (50 gms)
Condensed milk (200 gms)


Heat a heavy bottom pan.
Add freshly grated coconut, milk powder, condensed milk and mix them well. Saute in slow flame till the mixture starts to leave its side. Switch off the flame. Empty it in a mixture and allow it to cool.
Once the mixture cools, make small balls of lemon size. Dip the ladoos in freshly grated coconut and garnish. Serve and enjoy!

Masala Kulipaniyaram – Ganpathi festival recipe

Masala paniyaram is made of left over idli dosa batter. A special pan called paniyaram pan is used. Traditionally, this pan was made of iron. I have seen it my grand mother use it to make unni appam.
Now in modern times, we get them as non stick pan where little oil is required to cook.


  1. Idli dosa batter (1 cups)
  2. Onion (1, chopped)
  3. Curry leaves (few, chopped)
  4. Grated coconut (1 tbsp)
  5. Asofotida powder (a pinch)
  6. Ground black pepper (a pinch)
  7. Chilly powder (1/2 tsp)
  8. Green chilly(1/2 chopped)
  9. Oil for cooking.
  10. Salt as per taste.


  • In a vessel, add the idli dosa batter, onion, curry leaves, grated coconut asofotieda powder, ground black pepper.
  • If you want it to be spicy, add green chilly and red chilly powder into the batter.
  • Add salt if required since idli dosa batter will already have salt in it.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Take a kulipaniaram pan, heat it, add very little oil in each holes of the pan.
  • Pour in the batter and cook it on one side.
  • Turn the other side and cook it the other side as well.

Delicious and crispy Masala paniyaram is ready t be served!

Rose Milk recipe

Rose milk is a good energy booster and a flavorful drink and can be included in your diet.


Rose Syrup (3 tsp)

Milk (chilled, 1 cup)

Basil seeds/Sabja (1/2 tsp)


Soak Basil seeds or Sabja in water for about 20 minutes.

In a serving glass, pour milk, rose syrup and mix well.

Add Basil seeds or Sabja into it.

Delicious Rose milk is ready to be served. Enjoy!

Egg (1)

Bread (1 slice)

Butter to grease

Cheese (grated for garnish)

Salt (a pinch)

Pepper powder (a pinch)


Cut the bread slice from its center into a round shape. Separate the round center from the bread slice and keep them aside.

Heat a non-stick pan. Spread some butter over it.

Place the cut bread slice over it.

Break an egg and pour it at the center of the bread slice where it was cut to fill it.

Apply butter on top of the bread slice and place some on the egg.

Take the center of the bread, apply butter over it and roast it as well.

Turn the other side and cook till it becomes harsh brown in color.

Take the circle of the bread toast out of the pan and place it in a serving dish.

Take the egg in bread in a dish and garnish it with grated cheese.

Egg bread recipe is now ready for a quick breakfast.

Rose milk jelly

Rose milk jelly is a delicious dessert made of milk and jelly.. A quick and easy recipe that you can try out any time for  a perfect meal.



  • Milk (5 cups)
  • Gelatin powder (2 & 1/2 tbsp)
  • Powdered sugar(1/3 cup)
  • Vanila essence( 1 tsp)
  • Rose syrup(1/4 tsp)

In a mixing bowl, add milk (3/4 cup), gelatin powder and mix well to dissolve. Keep it aside.
In a heavy bottom pan, add remaining milk,powdered sugar, Vanilla essence,Rose syrup and mix well.
Heat it and bring it to a boil. Simmer in slow flame.
Add the gelatin milk and gelatin mix into it and mix well till the gelatin dissolves.
Take it out of the flame and pour it in the shape of the container you want it to be.
I m using a rectangular shaped container, allow it to come to a room temperature and set it.
Refrigerate it for 5-6 hours.
Take it out and the milk jelly will be formed.
Place a dish, and gently tap on the back of the container, the jelly will come out easily.
Decorate it with some sugar rose or sugar strawberry and rose syrup.

Delicious Rose milk jelly is ready to be served at the dinner table .. 🙂
