This is a beverage made with a medicinal and lot of vitamin fruit and is made during the festival of Ramnavmi. This wonderful recipe is contributed by Vidya lakshmi (vidyascooking.blogspot.com).
- Medium Size Wood apple ripe (1)
- Jaggery (3 tbsp)
- Cardamom pod (1 or 2)
- Lime juice(1 tbsp)
- Salt(1/2 tsp)
- Sugar (optional)
- Ice cold water
- In a mixer grinder or blender scoop out the wood-apple and add cardamom and jaggery with 2 tbsp water and blend to a puree.
- Add the lime juice and salt and add 1/2 cup of water and blend well then adjust the water to your taste is should have a mix of sweet n sour taste adjust adding 1 or 2 cups cold water.
